How to increase torrent speed

I think I've stumbled upon a way to download quicker, and increase torrent speed many times over. I was frustrated with long waits while downloading, and looking over various filesharing forums. I hoped to find tips about speeding things up.

I was getting pretty sick of the advice to "get a faster connection" – that wasn't the problem. My connection is fast, the problem is that the torrents still seem to take forever sometimes. I'll sit and wait, and watch them poke along at slow speeds for no apparent reason. Plenty of seeds? Check. Plenty of peers? Check. Gah! I was getting desperate to find a way to increase torrent speed, and to do so without changing isp's, or getting some new type of connection that would mean buying expensive new hardware.

And that's how I happened to come across this great little tool, "Torrent Ratio Keeper." I was skeptical at first, but decided that I'd give it a shot, what did I have to lose?

It completely knocked my socks off. Not only was it quick to set up, but almost right away I saw it increase torrent speed, so that I was able to get more, quicker.
